Operating

Located in Napa California, Grid Square CM88ui, I can be found on the CW bands chasing DX or rag-chewing.  My favorite bands are 20 meters and 30 meters.

I also enjoy the digital modes with 20 and 40 meter Psk31 being my favorites.  I run MixW from a Dell Laptop to a Kenwood TS570D through a homebrew interface.

The Antennas are on a 50 foot crank-up tower.  I use an old Wilson System-33 tribander for 20, 15, and 10 and a B&W folded dipole for all the other bands.

Activities

The big annual event is Field Day held each year on the last full weekend of June. Here we are operating the 40  meter CW position.  The op in the back is Howard K6IA.
