QSO From Burney Mountain

On Sunday, October 7th, John Rodman WB6YZF and Larry Drouin WA6UHO trekked to the top of Burney Mountain and Worked Napa via the W6CO repeater on Mt St Helena. WB6YZF was using a hand held radio with a Kul-Rod antenna. His signal was Q5.

| Burney Mountain as seen by Google Earth. The town of Burney is about 5 miles to the North, just to the left of the peak. The Line-of-Sight path from the peak of Burney Mountain to the south peak of Mt St Helena is just over 156 miles. Not bad for 5 Watts! |
